I bought a jcrew cashmere wrap a few years ago in a light spring green color and it’s perfection for traveling. I can wear it as a blanket or scarf or wrap but the light color and light weight makes it seem more like a fashion decision than a temperature one (yes, also always cold)
Layers on a plane! I like a thin long-sleeve shirt, thin but warm sweatshirt (like icebreaker crush sweatshirt), and a voluminous colorful cotton scarf. Then any of those are a good single layer in warm places!

Wide-leg cotton pants, shoes with socks, and denim jacket during summer months. I don’t get freezing cold so denim is sufficient for me.
